Good eye. You're using more criteria than I usually do before pulling a trigger; I should be doing the same. That salary point is a valuable one. Yeah, I've been looking at y2k lately as well. Not just for banks. What I found compelling here was the book value ratio and its geography and I haven't seen such a committment by insiders ---relatively speaking---at any other bank, period. But your POV is an equally weighty one.

Off to the salt mines.
