I believe in that too -but it is my biggest problem when playing the market. Simple rule -when you have a double -sell half. I quite often don't follow my own advice -but I usually regret it when I don't . Mind you if a stock is going up on high volume you can stretch this rule if you watch close.
When ever a friend tells me that they just made a double -I always say sell half. Invariably -six months later they say thanks. JP
