Market value of GSTRF = share price(G) * #shares(G) Loral's portion = .34[shareprice(G) * #shares(G)] Loral's portion per Loral share = Loral's portion/#shares(L) Your $34 value would only be valid if #shares(G) = #shares(L) ...or so it seems to me. I don't have the number of shares outstanding for each company right at hand, but you can do your own calc easy enough. By the way, I finally had photos from our trip developed; you look pretty good for a cowpoke! I'll send you some prints. Reagan
