Re: Bob Dylan on investing

The line it is drawn, the curse it is cast,
The slow one now will later be fast
As the present now will later be past.
The order is rapidly fading
And the first one now will be later the last.
For the times they are a-changing.

You might want to review the chart of last year's contest winner, the DII Group at techstocks.com. The stock was at 12 1/8 on 2/3/97 and at 29 1/8 on 2/3/98, but today it's back down at 17 ½. If the 1997 contest had closed today, the winner would've been Jules Garfunkel for his Intel pick, which remains the gold standard for long term investing.

I bought the DII Group recently and one of your picks, LSI Logic. Chip stocks that aren't in the S&P 100 have lagged even the bear market, so I think there's a lot of potential when the recovery arrives. I'm up 26% so far, but I would've had the same return if I had invested more money in Phoenix.

I chose VISX as well, is it only the first person who mentioned the stock?

Yes.
