Not many people of that [Clinton's] age who went to college ended up going to Vietnam. There were many ways out. I think there were maybe 2 players in the NFL who served in 'Nam, and those guys weren't the 4F type. I don't think there's many in Congress who served either, in that age cohort.

So, I didn't repeat "in Vietnam" for the Congress part. You want to build your usual "substantive debate" case on that, be my guest. I'd say it's a weak case, since the two sentences before it talked about serving in Vietnam. But I guess it's like the "liberal press" thing so profusely documented here.
