Kevin , re. AMD has had working silicon of K7 since july I do not know where you found that information , but I wouldn't doubt it . As a recent report entitled "Compaq , Intel fight brain drain" reported 2 of the top Alpha designers have been working at AMD for the last few years one works on K7 and the other on K8 .
