I sold yesterday too; pile of calls in the morning and shares in the afternoon. Am now 100% cash. With the 3+ point gap up at the opening, I couldn't resist. Couldn't bear to risk the $$$ slipping away. Am considering Nov 70 calls. With the implied volatility at 80% (?), they are pretty pricey though. Looking for a repeat of Aug 18 (earnings day) when we drifted down near the end of day and closed near the low. Am thinking many folks want to get out today but are hoping for a better price, but will sell at the end regardless. Will also consider Dec 70-75 puts if it gaps up in the morning. Am expecting Dell and Nasdaq to give back over the next month.
