Here's a great options play on Ascend for those that dare: If you believe Ascend will eventually be bought: Buy the stock and sell Jan 01 55s against it. You can sell the 55s for $17 and change. The only way you'll lose is if Ascend does not get bought out. That's a bet I'm willing to take.
