Hello Tim, Hope you had a great holiday season!!

"My last buy was 12-31-96 at .625. I sold part of that 1-7-97 for a quick 25% profit. Not bad for 7 days."

Good for you, now how much have you lost on stock that you bought for $1.20 or $1.50 or $5.00 or $8.00. Are you really breaking even on CAML.But then this is really not the important factor. Even if you can make an ocassional buck, this is no reason to have any confidence for long term survival of Camelot!!

"Sorry, but I just can't buy into your death wish for Camelot. Announcing new products, regardless of what you think about them, hardly indicates a dying company."

Tim, It is not just what I THINK about them it is not just a WISH, it is historical facts and financial data. It is a record strewn with nothing but failure. It is the overwhelming preponderance of available data that indicates little chance for their survival!

Maybe you did not read my last post...the handset gimmick was announced as "new" LAST YEAR in MAY. Now they announce it as "new" again six months after they promised to deliver it (and never did) originally.

Voice Mail...new? I have voice mail programs that I purchased well over a year ago! Now there are numerous packages available, including one that will be provided by Microsoft FREE in the next itteration of Internet Explorer! Yup this really helps their prospects...<GG>

Haven't you yet figured out that Camelot announcements are meaningless prose clearly designed to atempt to make a bad situation look rosy!

A company that has a consistent track record of failing to live up to promises made in press releases and having no credibility in the marketplace whatsoever (Camelot) is definitely ailing. Why do you suppose that the stock price...a direct measure of confidence in the company is at an all time low? Apparently the majority of people out there do not find it rational to just keep HOPING something positive might happen someday!

Camelot's Digiphone has many deficiencies much more glaring than it's lack of compliance to H323. Remember..lousy sound, no text chat, no way to satisfy the hobbyist...no way to find someone online to talk to, no Whiteboard conferencing, no ability to use the ULS directory system, no file transfer, no application sharing, and now no video. This all is enough to make a reasonable person recognize the fact that the product is simply not competitive. The big thing to consider here though is that they continue to fall further behind. Others bring new versions with new features and constant improvements to market almost monthly, Camelot cannot even plug in a new codec and meet their promised release date...6 months later.

As to Digiphone 2.0...what does "development is nearing completion" mean. Are they going to beat the 10 months over schedule that they did with the Delux version. If you say yes...what would possibly make you think they will do any better. What makes you continue to buy into the big lie?

As to people using H323 compliant applications. First, Vocaltec's product makes no claims at being compliant. You could not have possibly found anyone using Vocaltec's Iphone listed as an H323 user.
Are you sure you searched correctly?

If you were willing to try other applications you could check the directories for just Intel's Internet phone and MS NetMeeting. I use both. At any given time Intel's directory has between 30 to more than 200 people listed. MS Net Meeting often has literally thousands. To my knowledge these are the only two applications that currently claim to be H323 compliant (I guess this means that not only the "Vocaltec" but the "and others" part of your statement is inaccurate )!!

Apparently your search was not close to comprehensive nor accurate. Maybe you should read the help file for Infospace!

However as I mentioned above..Digiphone does not compete well on any attribute, so H323 is a minor part of their problems.

The industry is indeed in it's infancy, but only the true players will survive. Camelot has completely failed to show any indication that they are at all capable of being a player!!

About the anonymous "overseas investors". Do you think they are happy to have lost 30% to 35% of their investment in less than a month? Do you really think entities with such poor judgement can continue to be found forever that are willing to sustain such insane losses?

Lets see, at the current rate of losses being incurred by Camelot, Danny will have to find some group willing to dump their money to the tune of over 4 million every quarter... just to stay even. How long do you really think this will last in view of the fact that they continue to show no sign of doing anything positive?

Tim, your ability to continue to completely ignore the history of broken promises, the absolute exhibition of the inability to make money on goods or services for their entire existence (more than 5 years now Tim, they have had plenty of time to establish some positive trends, but have failed miserably), the lack of ability to develop and market anything successfully, the creative bookeeping, the solid track record of the stock as a loser pursuing an inexorable downward trend, is quite curious. I admit to a complete lack of understanding of your thought processes. I will say though, that in my view, your behavior in relation to Camelot confounds all logic! Your continued confidence in Camelot is totally inexplicable in light of all known facts, past and present!!!

Tim, you never cease to amaze me, it seems that you're kind of like Nero...happily fiddling away while Rome is burning around you!
