All the current market action is knee jerk.
what do you think the moves in KTEL, AOL, and YHOO have been.
The only reason they are being bought is because they are going up.
Once that stops, there will be no reason to be involved.
I think the next 8 days may be very volital.
Hey, the market may even go down again.
Some may have forgotten, It does go down from time to time.
I think DELL had to stretch to get to 28 cents. They bought back a lot of stock, AR went up 3 days sequentialy, Accounts payable went up 4 days, both are up Y/Y.
What happen to the importance of cash conversion ?
Inventories went down.
and what is in the Other line on the asset sheet.
It also looks like Hiring has slowed down.
Is that good or bad ???
Business is not growing as fast, or is it all that much more efficient.
And will it be possible to keep ASP's flat with the recient price cuts on their bussiness line coming in the first week of the new quarter.
It is funny how in the Text DELL only mentions that ASP's are flat Sequentialy. They did not mention the 8% Y/Y Decline.
Same with GM's, down Sequentialy not mentiond, but they tout the flat Y/Y number
Lets face it,
DELL had a great quarter. I think we can all agree to that.
The big question is:
Does any one care about the quarter on it's own merrits, or do they care about what investors expected and wanted ?
If the answer results in disapointment, then the stock is toast.
Otherwise it will be a buy on the open.
