Hi Michael, What you reported is a lith ion battery consisting of a 3 canister cylinder with volume of about 0.07 liter. The complete package has an energy density of about 265 Watt hours per liter,
roughly comparable to others of the type and in the same ball park
as the VLNC cells shown on the web page. The weight is typical of
this technology and probably exceeds that of a lith poly of similar performance. Another useful reference would be specs
of the new, pilot project Hanil LP cell which has a reputed 360 watt hours per liter and therefore weighs less than either, all else being equal. You should
know that Hanil is a joint venture partner of Valence and there is some sharing of technology.
