In response to your question

$9.00 on average for multiple lines of code? No.

But as a basis of an upper limit on what LOC could cost, the statement that LOC "can be" as expensive as $9.00 is not inaccurate
based on a cost estimate.

Again this is semantics. In the context of the analyst's report, his statement of an high end cost neither validates or negates what has been analyzed. Should the analyst have said that "on average" LOC costs about $.90? Does the figure stated really factor into the marketing of this product? As Jeff, pointed out...not really. The whole argument is a red herring as was Joey's earlier misrepresentation as to who the CEO of the company is.

In analyzing the marketing, I found it more interesting to visit webcrawler and excite. I typed the words y2K, millenium, year2000 and bug into the search area. According to the recent analysis by Security Capital, these words on a "random" basis should provide a banner for PINC's y2k product.

I tried this for about 15 minutes and didn't once get the banner.
What does "random" mean. Is this effective marketing? Did anyone else determine whether these claims were true?

I'd be interested in finding out anyone else's experience with this since I'm interested in legitimate critiques rather than unabashed bashing....just for the sake of bashing...
