Len, The refresh rate and and horizontal frequency were the same as those given in the manual for a resolution of 1024 x 768. Looking a little closer, I see the sync polarity, which, on all the other resolutions was -,-, is suppose to be set at +,+, for this one particular mode. It was not set to this but rather to the -,-. Would that blast the monitor? Bob
