QUESTION: Java is for real.A killer move by INTC would be to make a deal with SUNW so they could embed the Java Virtual Machine on the Intel chips. This would make the JVM super fast and provide OS independence for Intel chips. An announcement such as this would skyrocket both INTC (even more) and SUNW and match the future of software development (which drives the market) with Intel chips. Anyone have any thoughts on this? One gentleman said we should contact Mr. Grove but he has probably already thought of this.
