I tend to lose interest in the straw men - if I can see them coming. I don't always, and I get caught in a set battle. What intrigued me about the teen sex debate is that it appears to be apart from the usual drumbeating. When I encounter an SI poster who is willing to explain [his] basic premises to me, I find that refreshing and worthy of attention. There are threads in the Coffee Shop (my usual haunt - whut with I don't know from stock) which are generally more free of the usual ad hominem noise. They're pretty quiet now - so I'm here and looking for the popcorn vendor! :-)
