Why do you want the Aopen over the Abit?

I decided I wanted some SCSI capablity, not for the HDD but for backup solution(s). That Aopen has Adaptec SCSI onboard which is more cost effective than a PCI card when you consider the saved PCI slot. It (Aopen) also features, where the Abits do not, suspend to disk which, when you think about it, is very helpful upon rebooting to open all calibrated trading screens right where they were when the computer was shutdown. I'm not going to be excercising the BH6 superior overclocking features on a regular basis. I just want to oc to 450@ 100mhz bus once and forget it, hopefully. The Aopen can do that effectively.

Minotaur has everything but the aopen and SM 750,

They say OK for me to ship Aopen direct to them. I know thats two shipping charges for the MB ( vendor to Minotaur + Minotaur to me). But hey.... That trick with a case is excessive though...

He's also got a nice price on
Dan's Malay celeron 300a, about as good as can be had anywhere

I noticed that too. I'd like to make it work with Minotaur...... we'll see

Thanks much for your thoughts. Abits popularity *would* be helpful in a time of need. I hadn't checked the online presense of Aopen because I neglected to think along those lines...... really like those features I mentioned though.... and a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush....
