Subject: Re: Sungold Gaming

Leroy,

As an experiment, this past November, I issued an Early Bird Alert on Sungold
Gaming (VSE:SGI) to all former paid FLASH subscribers who had signed up for
the Early Bird Alert service. Intentionally, I kept my commentary OFF the
Internet and used traditional dissemination means for talking about Sungold
Gaming. Example: I extensively interviewed Sungold Gaming on my NYC radio
talk show from December 1st onward. I notified a selected list of my print
subscribers on Sungold Gaming. Etc.

But, I did not disseminate Sungold Gaming across the Internet. SGI was picked
at C$4.50/share last November. Today, it ran to C$17.90/share, with nearly
three hours of trading left on Thursday, January 9th. There are indications
that SGI could run to C$50/share or higher over the next few months, but that
is another story.

I have restructured my Internet commentary so as to avoid the numerous
conflicts, which inherently arise on the Internet, and to benefit my
subscribers, first and foremost. During the last half of 1996, I got tired of
watching my followers used as clay pigeon practice by the pro traders. So,
when I ended HOT STOCKS FLASH, as it was then being published, it did not
mean I disappeared off the face of the earth. It meant that I eliminated many
of the vultures who were intent on wrecking my plays. If they didn't know
which play I was behind, then they couldn't hurt it, right?

I didn't pursue this strategy to punish various yokels and bumpkins, who
appeared intent on libeling me or Hot Stocks Review at every opportunity.
Their only suffering was in profits they did not make. The entire concept was
to effectively disseminate a good story without attracting the parasites and
leeches, the something-for-nothing crowd, and the carrion shortsellers, who
have hounded me since first launching Hot Stocks Review on the Internet.

You will see more good stories during 1997, disseminated differently but,
nonetheless, as effectively as Sungold's story. Those who missed out on this
play are still welcome to directly find out about it from Kim Hart, IR for
Sungold Gaming: 604-222-3155.

We must believe!
