I can't say for sure why ONSALE isn't doing better - BUT my one and only experience buying from them wasn't very positive:

A monitor I bought from them was shipped to the wrong address. No big deal. That stuff happens all of the time. I filled out the closest form that described my problem that they on their 'Customer Service' site stating that I was going to ship the monitor UPS (expecting them to credit my VISA) and wanted to know the status of the other 3 items. Were THEY going to the wrong address too? Their general feedback link on their Customer Service Site was dead. They said that customer service was their top priority. I've got an MBA - we tell everyone to say that BUT mean it.

Four days later no response. I followed up with another email from their Customer Service site.

Five days later no response. I followed up with another email from their Customer Service site.

Six days later no response. I followed up with another email from their Customer Service site.

After much searching, I finally found a phone number. I guess I just fell thru the cracks. No reason was given.

Will I use them again? Depends on what response (if any) I get from the CEO to my rather terse letter.
