Issues
1. Some of the respondents submitted their share counts on behalf of groups, so the actual number of shareholders is probably much larger than 156.
2. The average number of shares are skewed by a few extremely large shareholders. If those shareholders are removed from the calculation then the number drops to approximately 340,000 shares.
3. The splits between Silicon Investor, AOL, Raging Bull and Yahoo/Other are not exact since some respondents failed to mention their board or were a member of more than one board.
4. A share count conducted via the Internet is not an exact science since the validity of the data received can not be confirmed or denied. The data provided here should only be considered a tool and not an end with all.
