I don't have to worry about taxes, (401), so I think I will sell this morning. I am going to clean out my Cisco position also. This will leave me in AOL only, and about 75% Cash. I figure: A: the market is getting silly, ie: the Earthweb IPO,Ebay, etc, B: strong possibility of the Fed leaving the interest rate where it is next week, which could cause a 10% slide, and C: Time of year, Tax selling etc. When I balance the above 3 points against any potential upside. It looks like a good time to be out, and wait for a buying opportunity. Can I outguess the Market? Hell, I don't know, but I am going to try! |
