If the diamonds are there and the price is good, then the
mining will happen. In Elkford, B.C., they found a mountain
made of coal. Blew the top off it and started bulldozing. They've
removed an entire mountain stripping out the coal. If profits
outweight costs, they'll always find a way to do the mining.
Amazing, though, that no other company has been consulting
with the experts in strip mining.
