After you tell us what you mean by "is", and in a spare yet enlightened moment, you might want to state (emphatically): (i) is there any particular reason why you think professional tulip growers and traders were not "experts" in tulips, while every sucker who trades Dell stock is an "expert"; and (ii) should (i) happen not to mean what you have meant to mean, then in that case who appoints the experts who decide what are the proper prices? Do experts get stamped on the forehead so that they can be recognized and properly obeyed?

You, BTW, appear to be ignorant of the fact that these days too many unique, just developed varieties of plants are often sold for millions of US$ a piece - the explanation is that they can be propagated into millions and billions of plants of the same qualities.
