Cheeky, I think you were talking to me. When I put a CD in that has video and audio, I get the video, but no audio.

I guess here's a basic question. If on rebooting, I hear the MS startup "tune" and some <POPS> as programs are loading, does that mean my sound card is OK?

Again, every time I try to play a RealAudio clip, I get the message: "Cannot open the audio device. Another Application may be using it."
So, it's not saying that it can't find the program, it's saying that it's already in use. This all started when I switched to Netscape.
