Today's NY Times today has article confirming that NCI and Genentech were unable to reproduce results. On the positive side, (but not in the on-line version for some reason) they quote a collaborator at Harvard (Olsen) as saying he's confirmed many of the results, though he still has difficulty with one technique. Olsen said he remains extremely optimistic - "The gist of it is we have had a very impressive effect."

(I currently have no position in ENMD).
