Paul: Could you explain what was the incorrect premise of the question? My recollection is the questioner first asked Lev about whether there is a variable conversion option that kicks in as of Jan 27, and second, what is the likelihood about a contract by that date.

I see nothing incorrect about the premise of the question, but maybe my memory is not totally clear. I certainly did not expect Lev to answer the 2nd part of the question. A simple "no comment" was what I expected. What I didn't expect was his professed unfamiliarity with the terms of the financing. To my ears at least, Lev's response to the first part of the question was a denial that a variable rate conversion option exists. That's what I heard, and that's what set off the red flags for me.

And the way I heard it, there was nothing incorrect about the premise of the question. Please explain why you feel differently.
