I was absolutely shocked to read that.

Frankly, I had assumed that they would ramp sharpy there in q1-q299 and then ramp modest volumes of k7 in 2H99. Once the fab line is up they will ramp that up fast due to fixed costs being so high.

It looks to me they are going to turn on the spigot with K7's ASAP.

Even 2-3K wafers/mo should produce millions per quarter. They must also be confident of shipping enuf sharpy's from Fab 25 not to need Fab 30 for sharpy production.

Of course the Engelafoons will come up with some negative spin on this surely.
