Alan, "some wish to knock God by implying they are like Gods" "Then God said,'Let us make man in our image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion...'" Did God imply there that we are like him? Then how could I be knocking God to imply we are? Another question, who is this "us" that made man? "If that was the case we would have control over life and death and that is not the case." We don't? Can you give birth to a child? Is the news filled with stories of murder, the ending of a life? Does what you do every day have an impact on the rest of your life? We were born perfect. We were born as a babe in a manger or in the image of God. It is along the way that we strayed and forgot. Jesus reminded us. Remembering that we were once in the image of God and trying to be so again is what it is all about. This detracts from God in no way, but honors him. We are all simple shepards until we realize that all have been chosen. Peace, Darrin
