Soup, would you still feel optimistic about this quarter if Apple doesn't come out with any further upgrades to its 3 product lines before xmas? I assumed they absolutely needed to do so to maintain momentum, given all the improving performance & lowering cost of pc's over the last several months -- but apparently you haven't seen competitive pressure as slowing Apple sales? Guess if Apple had any more products/upgrades to announce they'd probably have done it by now -- next week is Comdex (would risk getting lost in the noise), and then we're into the big thanskgiving shopping weekend. I still think they will be missing out if no upgrades before xmas -- they're a self-proclaimed consumer-oriented company and xmas is the biggest consumer selling season of all -- what kind of sense does it make to wait until Jan 5th to announce all kinds of new products?
