Shawn, let me see if I understand you. You will continue to provide these hot tips and we will all be able to retire in a few years. We will profit because only this select group will know the secret information that you provide. In fact, we will know it before the insiders of the companies in question, and even after you post it on this well-known public forum for all to see. Sound logical to me ;-)

In addition, we will buy and sell these stocks as they move up and down to increase our profits, although you will not tell us when to sell. We will just know. Great.

Call me cynical, but I don't buy your story that you are out to help the little guy beat the insiders. How exactly do you know the secret news that these companies have yet to release? Are you profiting from inside information. The last time I checked, that was illegal. If you're basing your picks on public information that is readily available, than please share it with us. If not, you might want to divert some of your profits towards legal advice.

Let's assume for a minute that everything you say is absolutely 100% true. You have a private source of valuable information that can be used to beat the pros at their own game. How long do you think it will take before either:

a) the whole world joins this forum and neutralizes your advantage (news travels fast over the internet and very soon you will be world famous)

b) the SEC shuts you down

The sight of hordes of naive investors blindly following a complete stranger just sticks in my craw. We both know that in the long run, they will lose.
