Charles, Thought you might find this of interest: This is from St. Louis Post : Turkey Government nears collapse as coalition falls apart Turkey's government, the fourth in three years, bordered on collapse Thursday when a key ally defected over a privatization scandal and a coalition partner threatened to withdraw support. The Republican People's Party brought a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Mesut Yilmaz, siding with two opposition parties that lodged similar motions a day earlier. The motions accuse Yilmaz, the head of the center-right Motherland Party, of abusing his power and being linked to organized crime. With the pivotal Republicans turning on him, Yilmaz's 16 month old government has little hope of survival. Ron Brand
