I was driving past a burger joint and I saw something on a sign that may or may not be an outright lie.

I am posting this here in case someone else has done some DD on the company.

I saw this big sign that was Yellow and Red (Couldn't read the name, I think it was McRowels or something) any way the sign said they had served 99 billion.

Now that has to be a complet lie.

#1 there is only about 200,000 people in that particular city (Though the entire area has about 8 million people) So if 99 billion people had come through this city in the last 45 years, I think someone would have noticed. I mean that is 6,027,390 people per day. I think that this many people would have been noticed, certainly over 45 years anyway. In fact You would think many of them would say.."Gee I like this city, I think I might move here....but know...200,000 people.

#2 There are only 5 billion people on the planet. Even if we account for all of the people who have been born over the last 45 years, this only accounts for a grand total of 27 billion people, So obviously this restaurant is lieing, because 99 billion people have not lived on this planet

#3 I just drove through another city and they have another branch of this restaurant. This one claims "billions and billions served"

Liars.
