"Trade would have been long puts for the day" Have you managed to be sucessful with daytrading options? I tried it for a while miserably. Between the inability to set stops, larger spreads, higher commissions and smaller movements relative to the stock itself I could only get a decent profit on a very solid move of at least 2 points in the stock. Finally gave it up. Policy now is that options are to be held for 2-3 days at shortest, preferrably a week or two. Eric
