I always thought the separation of units was a matter handled by the listing exchange. There is usually a separation date published by the exchange after which units are delisted and the common and warrants continue to trade separately. I have never heard of a unit where the holder could control separation of the components. I would be interested to hear of any instances where this is the case. Brad
