HBOC..NTKI and NSOLFirst of all some of us were worried that HBOC' acquisition by McKesson would be affected by the resignation of the President. After the close they said they saw no impact. Details like this coming after an upgrade and the subsequent plunge due to his resignation will most definately affect the stock on Monday. I see the uptrend now continuing.

Also I like to look at a stocks range during the day. A stock could be up or down 4-8 points and still provide for some good daytrades. Although I daytrade less and less now and have found it most profitable to hold for longet time periods between 2 days and 2 weeks.

HBOC although I did not enter would have made a good rebound on high volume after its initial plunge. NSOL was down about 3/8 yesterday and for casual observers would have looked like nothing special.. but that 3/8 was after it worked its way upwards 8 points..

NTKI.. I have paper traded this issue and followed it for a while I had it in second or first place as a possible short for thursday / friday. What I meant was that now I am 'ready' to make a better informed trade on this stock in the future based on following its patterns for the past week or so. I have been hesitant to touch this or KTEL until now.
McKesson sees no impact from HBOC departure
Reuters Story - November 13, 1998 16:14
NEW YORK, Nov 13 (Reuters) - Drug wholesaler McKesson Corp. said Friday its planned $11.5 billion acquisition of HBO & Co. would not be affected by the unexpected resignation of an HBO executive.

Although HBO President, Co-chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer Jay Gilbertson was expected to be part of the team leading the combined company, "there is no impact on the transaction," said a McKesson spokesman.

NSOL.. I am very bullish long term but for now this looks like it really needs a rest. Read this good article on some of the uptrending stocks like CLX, NSOL, SPLS, BBBY..
