The simplest approach to Internet anonymity is using
a proxy server. A proxy acts as a buffer between you
and the Web pages you seek; you view the site just
as you normally would, but all the site sees is the
proxy's address.


Thank You! I did not know that.

My ISP allows connecting through a proxy server but
I had some connection problems a while back and their
tech support reccomended turning it off. I just turned
it back on and so far my connection's fine. Hopefully
it stays that way.
