You are trying to sidestep the issue of omnipotence. You are probably one of the many who give thanks to their god when the rain when it is beneficial, because he caused it, and blame nature, or randomness, or whatever, when there is a catastrophe. If he is the cause of one, he is the cause of the other. Also if you believe your god is omniscient, then he is aware of the suffering, and doesn't care, or is powerless to do anything about what he created. Do you believe your god is omniscient and omnipotent or not?
You have also shown that prayer is useless. If things like the weather are random, as you stated, then why do people waste their time praying for rain during a drought?
I believe in no god, therefore there is no one to ask. My only purpose in these posts is to give balance to the mythological thinking that you and others possess. To do otherwise would be to let your silly ideas go unchallenged. There has been too much silence on this subject for too long. It is time that we raise a new generation of children that do not base their thinking on mythology, but testable science.
