Dear Kemble

Regarding your inquiry: " I see you are a President of a company what is all of that about"?

Lillette's is the one of the oldest bridal shops in the country. Mother started it in 1938. In late sixties moved to Merrick .

In interim, I had start a job as the New York State Sales Supervisor for a division of International Minerals and Chemicals. Received 4 promotions in 4 years. My 4 for 4 took me around to various places in good old USA. As the North Atlantic Regional Manager I had worked with about 275 salesmen and about 10 sales organizations . My primary roles was showing them how they could implement our company objectives to our mutual advantage.

Interesting job working with people with different backgrounds representing different product lines. My primary function was as a "number cruncher". But the most rewarding wasn't goal attainment it was getting people to work towards a common goal in a focused and cooperative fashion.

I worked with some of the finest people I ever met. I would love to see if this message could some how
reach the following :

Steve Mason
Bill O'Keefe
Rodger Ricks
Aldon Thompson

It was a long time ago but I sure wish I could hear from you and or about them!!!

Anybody else who had worked for Accent International? Please PM me!!

Back to the past. 1967 I got married to my beautiful wife, Cathy. I have been happily married since with two wonderful children.

International Minerals and Chemical was spinning off the Accent International and AI was on the auction block. I had an opportunity to relocate to a different part of the country but Cathy wanted to have children and I didn't want to be a plane passenger flying to one sales meeting to another while my kids were in their formative years, so in 1968 my wife and I expanded Lillette's and moved to our present location in Baldwin NY In 1971 I left Accent International and began in earnest to prepare for fatherhood.

Lillette's enjoys a long history of satisfying brides and being of service to many friends. We have
" married" girls who have become mothers and their children and now the children of their children are currently are customers! Customers come to Lillette's from a wide area. It is a happy business but not without its deadlines and its pressures.

During the eighties I spent 10 years with a company called Macade Progress now Macade. It is primarily a value added reseller of computers, computer related product and services. I started out as their Sales Manager and ended up when I decided to leave I was their Vice President of Marketing. Great experience
and good exposure for me.

The CEO is one of my best friends.

It seems that each new adventure results in strong lasting bonds of friendship.

Posted elsewhere are some of my other adventures. Don't want to make this look like a resume!

Much more on the fire and plenty of fire in me. I came to the stock market late in life but it has renewed me interest in taking on new challenges.

Kemble, I am really excited about all the new advances taking place in my areas of interest. I am now hooking up with some others who share common goals and see what happens when we push in the same direction.

People working together works!

Kemble, your private PM and your feelings regarding your friends is understood. Things like sincerity honesty and kindness, service and humility are important to me as well.

So many wonderful things came back to me as a result of someone's inquiry or comment or piece of information. Many people on this thread really show on a regular basis their earnest desire to help.

Thanks for the opportunity you gave to me to talk a little about Accent International. Hopefully somehow I will hear from some of the guys I worked with!

Best Regards,

QT
