AS,

A bit more about DELL's potential growth rate. Currently the ana-lysts are predicting that DELL will make about 0.31, 0.34, 0.37, 0.41 for the 4 Q in FY 2000. These are not easy numbers to achieve. If, as you believe, that DELL could still maintain its 60% growth rate, you will have to come up with numbers like 0.36, 0.41, 0.46, 0.51. IMHO, they can achieve these numbers only if they buy back 20% of their total number of shares.:)

Currently DELL is expected to make 0.30 for the next Q. I think that they can suprise us with 0.31. And a very slight chance of 0.32. Well, if the whisper number is again sth like 0.33-0.35 and the street runs the share sharply higher before the report (I highly doubt it and believe that the street will look at the number first before taking action), you know what you should do.

Currently, I will buy DELL at no more than 55, as I mentioned before. I don't really see the share going below 45 in the worst case.

good luck,
larry!
