Thanks for sharing the Fool article.

Ashok did his part for his employer and employers' elite clients, no doubt. It was part of the options expiry play.

We go through this almost every month, just seasonal bug to overcome.

PS: Last month, my large position of DELL Oct 60 puts (sold) were assigned to me as the stock closed at $57 1/2, which I suspected was a result of the MMs supressing the stock price.

Then, the following week, DELL was released from imprisonment and the stock soared to $67 in four trading sessions. Thus, my "misfortune" turned out to be a blessing in disguise. (I promptly took profits, needless to say.)
