Obie, BII DOES NOT, NOT, NOT TAKE INVENTORY!!!!!!!!! They have NO INVENTORY RISK!!
Has anyone taken note that BII took top honours this week at Canada's most prestigious technology CIPA awards winning the "1998 Best of Category Award for Small Business", the 1998 "Award of Excellence" and the overall "1998 Best of Show Award", competing with IT solutions companies which included GE Capital, IBM Canada, Scotiabank, Air Canada, Revenue Canada, ING Canada etc.??? They beat out everybody! This was in front of 1500 of Bay Street's top business men at a Gala award banquet - the word is finally out in Toronto - Canada has its own internet stock, and its doing exceedingly well, also!
The President of Roger's New Media has just joined the board and a huge media blitz for Rogers and BII is about to begin. BII projects $25 million in revenues for '98 and profits by Q2 '99. In licensing to other countries (such as Ireland) BII will get a royalty on global internet sales that will be PURE PROFIT.
BII has many similarities to eBay and many differences. Those differences are aimed at being profitable much faster than the average internet company.
Also, here in Canada, BII got some coverage from Financial (National) Post and Globe and Mail, because of yesterday's trading.
I spoke to the IR guy yesterday, Tim, and he is confident about getting listed on Nasdaq. I do hope so. |
