Delbert,

Man has done a lot of science and what they have accomplished is amazing. Many good things have come of science and also many bad. Now we have deadly molecules loose in our environment randomly wreaking havoc, this arsenic in India in the water (was that put there by industry? as waste?), in the USA our Chernobyl was not severe because the officials are afraid of the public, we have power. Three Mile Island was every bit as bad as Chernobyl but did not cause the damage because we insist on adequate safety features. But the russians don't have that power and suffer. Now the environment of the whole world is polluted by Chernobyl. I would say that the Christian influence in our society is what protected us here. In russia they are atheist and have no power, in india it is hindu or buddist and they have no power. But our country is founded on christian principles written into our constitution which have empowered us to be able to be a great nation and protect ourselves form the greed and inhumanity of corporations and their relentless pursuit of profits.

<<There has been too much
silence on this subject for too long. It is time that we raise a new generation of
children that do not base their thinking on mythology, but testable science.>>

You have heard of Steven Hawking? Christine and I have discussed this before. Dr. hawking has come to the conclusion that it is mathematically impossible for this universe to have happened by chance. He has stated that a higher intelligence with the power to do so had to have put this universe and all that it contains together. He goes on that He can find no evidence of this higher intelligence but that he knows it must exist. And that in the absence of any other explanation the christian God is as good an explanation as any. He is saying that mathematically evolution is impossible. That's your mythology which is supported only by "made up" science and is in reality impossible. The russians experimented for years trying to produce a beneficial mutation that supported the idea that beneficial mutations are the cause of evolution. They could not produce a single beneficial mutation in all their work. Not a single cell could be improved. 95% of mutations were deadly to the organism and 5% were benign. If evolution were true then thousands of beneficial mutations would have to have been possible in order for natural mutations to fuel the evolution of species. But they were not possible. It is scientifically impossible and so is evolution. The entire idea of evolution is based on fossils of animals that we don't know where they came from or how they got here on earth (outside of a belief in God). Some writing by Darwin distorted to fit the needs of the time. A lot of "made up" science and a faulty carbon dating method to put an enormous time frame in place which is not true.

That's what evolution really is anyhow. Men who don't want to believe in God inventing a belief system for themselves as to where we came from. It relieves a lot of stress to the unbelieving person. The Bible written thousands of years ago predicted in the last days before Jesus's return a "deluding influence" will come upon the world. All those who are not believer's will be overcome by it. Well it is here, we are in those times. At least Steven Hawking is smart enough to not delude himself. And he was severely criticized for his statement by the deluded world of science to the point that he came out again and rephrased what he said to be less offensive to the evolutionists. The evolutionist's house of cards is so fragile that one very smart man is a threat to it all.
