Hi Powershred,

You raised some excellent points. I have repeatedly said that sell side "analysts" don't analyze -- they simply hype or dampen enthusiasm for the stocks they cover with the aim of encouraging churning. Look at the GS "analysis" of BMCS as an example. Now, is it a mere coincidence that GSCO is the largest market maker for BMCS?

The growth in free cash flow is the most important parameter in evaluating companies, and you are right on the money when you point out that none of these "analysts" pay any attention to that. When sell-side "analysts" stop being fixated on next quarter's earnings, and instead look at multi-year cash flow projections I might begin to pay some attention to them. But then, that kind of analysis requires some thought.
