Mr. Yuan,

There are many prior posts on this thread and elsewhere that can provide you with a substantial amount of information on CDMA and Qualcomm. Just as a summarization, Qualcomm owns several patents for a CDMA standard called IS-95 CDMA. This technology is currently what is being used by Sprint PCS and PrimeCo to provide Personal Communications Services in may different areas of the United States. There are many licensees of Qualcomm's IS-95 CDMA including Lucent Technologies, Motorola, Nokia and Northern Telecom. Ericsson is not a licensee of IS-95 CDMA. Again, for additional information you may want to read some of the prior posts and also check the Web site of the CDMA Development Group located at cdg.org
