Larry's observation has me thinking as well. The timing of this re-pricing is very interesting. Why now? I doubt the BOD would approve a move like this just to be *nice* to the employees for short-term profit potential. If the year restriction wasn't in there, then I'd be worried.

IMO, the BOD has taken Management's biz plan and forecasts for the next 12 mos, ran the numbers and came to the conclusion that ANCR could very well be a $8-10 stock on its own merits a year from now. But after all the hard work to get to that point, those options would be pretty "worthless." Re-pricing was necessary IMO, but could have been a bit higher (maybe $3 range). The take-over angle could be in the backs of their minds as well. Is there anyway to confirm the breakdown of the 1.2 million options by class of holder i.e. Management, rank & file, etc.?
