Paul-san,

Hussain-
In case of any action by the U.S it will be a temporary set back for the market at best as I don't see how this could adversely affect any businesses in the U.S.Don't think Iraq is a big market for DELL.

Indonesia-
We'll have to see,it sure is bad for the Indonesians and some American companies particularly the oil companies.I do believe most the American money is out of Indonesia by now.

Malaysia-
Mathir is getting tremendous pressure from the world communities on Anwar, let us hope it will come to a fair conclusion,if not the situation may turn out to be equal to that of Indonesia.Lot of the U.S funds are out of the the country as well by now,I am sure if not
it is stuck there for a while anyway without the Anwar issue on account of the recently introduced currency control etc.

FOMC-Don't know what the outcome will be but we got Alice Rivlin on the side of a rate cut and hopefully she will be able to persuade the 'old man' and others, besides I am thinking there must be others in there who is in favor of a cut since we are slowing down a bit.If not another mild case of set back.

Now that is all out of the way (man it is easy to explain things away ain't it),let us get on with the 'strongest' quarter of them all.
