Just saw these posts about @home. I use @home at home. Yes, I'm on the West coast and it runs well, but I have talked to some of our users with it elsewhere and they seem to get great performance too.

At work at DBC I have a T3 direct on to UUNET and I find its SI that is slow. Ever since Go2net moved them to Seattle (or Washington) it has been slower.
