Outlook Express I believe gets its spell-checking and other functionality from integration with Office 98. I can't verify this because I have Office 98. However, I seem to remember reading about this somewhere.

Assuming the market allows, we should see better movement of AAPL, now that there are reassuring iMac reports for Nov. I think the trial and the rumors of weak iMac sales were enough to stall acquisition of the stock, and prompted some to take profits.

I am still looking for an iMac price drop to $999 soon. Usually, AAPL and other computer makers drop prices quarterly. Nov 15 will be exactly one quarter from product launch. A late November cut will help move more iMacs as people realize that $29.99/mo for 67 months is too long. $999 would put it closer to 4-5 years, which is the typical purchase cycle for consumers anyway.
