DirecTV isn't MPEG2?

I'm not sure what you mean when you say that DirecTV changed to MPEG-2. They
are not MPEG-2 compliant nor will they ever be since that would leave 3+ million
customers with black screens. What did they change over a year ago ?

I'm still glad they won those contracts. Divicom's system controller

driving demand for systems help........this points out that people want compatibility and that DIVI needs to expand end to end.

Sr. Development Engineer for Win NT network management applications.
Will act as the Technical Lead for the project as well as be
responsible for designing and implementing API's and applications
which will allow DiviCom's system controller the ability to manage
thrid party devices which process digital video.

- Requires BSCS or equivalent, with 5 years of experience in
implementing Windows NT applications.
-Strong communication and leadership skills required.
- A good understanding of Windows NT programming using MS Visual C++
required.
- Network programming skills a must, specifically in the areas of
Serial, SNMP and TCP/IP technologies.
- Any device management programming skills or knowledge of cable data
networks a plus.
- Experience with COM is also a plus.

Anyone know what DVx ventures does? Is it related to CUBE's chip or
something entirely different?
