Hey Bearcat

Don't know if I can handle anymore good omens!

I think that what I need is a good twelve step program for compulsive purchasers of STF shares. With drilling about to commence and the share price languishing, I find that once again I'm tempted to purchase more. If this behaviour continues I will be either the majority shareholder or broke! More likely both.

I spoke to Ms. deBruyker on Friday and here is a summary of our conversation:

1) Well 7-25 is waiting to be tested with a service rig, the large drilling rig is still on site and waiting to move to 11-12.

2) Well 11-12 is to be deepened by aforementioned rig.
It appears that a hearing may be necessary to satisfy local complaints.

3) Well 11-15 is to be drilled and tested, pending approval.

4) They are working with Raptor on a well designated 6-8 and I forget if this is new or an existing well.

5)They are in discussion with a major player to run a pipeline to Hartell 4-13 to bring it into production. (In the east this surfaced as a rumour to build a 'plant')

6) All resident packages have been mailed to those affected but I gather this is a slow process and now that Calgarians are moving into the Turner Valley, the "Not in my backyard", syndrome is starting to flourish.

7) The company is financing drilling with a private placement of flow through shares completed a year and a half ago and another private placement recently completed(I checked Sedar and could find no record of a recent placement)

8) Patience is the current byword, there will be no great rush of activity in the near future.

9) I also asked if any revenue was being generated from other oil sources(If memory serves they announced some time ago that a small field; in I think central Alberta, would come on line). Ms de Bruycker did not know and time permitting; I will ask Ms Hunt, the treasurer tomorrow.

So, all things come to he who waits, hopefully more than death and taxes!!

Later

Keith
