Hi Larry, I'm going to tune in a Vikings game shortly so I will keep this short. I remember a consensus that the Red Chip numbers were extremely low. Valence initially budgeted only 30% yield which implies that they were likely counting good batteries only. They were probably only able to run at a fraction of the design speed at the time. On more than one occasion I spoke with and exchanged E-mails with Red Chip Editor Johnny Svoren. I teased him about being so conservative. He laughed and commented that he was just doing what most analysts do - to start with very low numbers and leave room to increase them with time. Analysts receive a lot less flack if they are able to raise estimates rather than to lower them. It works out much better for them politically. Since I am not an analyst subject to such company or industry policies, I just use my own best estimates.

Anyone betting against the Vikings today?

Anyone betting against Valence tomorrow?

Kickoff time,

Regards from FMK
